Shopping for Holiday gifts already?

Hey hey, dollies!

I took out Luna last Sunday for a quick photo shoot
(outside the house LOL)
and imagined that she'd be
going out for her first trip
of holiday gifts buying.

She cleverly sported a really comfortable ensemble.

A basic tee, skinny jeans, a scarf, comfy shoes and a tote bag must be in your shopping arsenal, says Luna.
Shopping is like a walk-a-thon, so start doing your yoga or zumba classes already.
Make sure you have in your bag the essentials, like your list, credit cards, a bottle of water, your minimalist makeup kit and extra totes.
Tough decisions are made on the fly; try to stay focused.
And of course, one had to always stay cute, no matter how physically demanding shopping can be.
Because it's supposed to be a fun, and wonderful activity to do.

The reason I made Luna all prepped up for a shopping battle is
because for so many years, I had always been stressed with
shopping for loved ones for the holiday gift giving.
And always end up buying some things
that I am not proud to give.
Because I didn't give it enough time...

So now that I'm not so locked up in
a cubicle anymore, I should have the
flexibility to give time for planning this
supposedly fun (if well planned)
activity.

So what do you guys think about this?
How do you manage to stay serene (that word, though LOL)
with all that holiday shopping madness?
Or do you avoid being stressed about it?
How?

Let's chat!
hugs and kisses,

  4. She looks great love the whole outfit. I learned years ago that the adults in my life I give gift cards so they can buy what they really want. I may shop for the kids but I limit them to 1 or 2 toys. I get the toys delivered so I avoid the toy store chaos of the holidays when possible :O)

    1. Thanks much, Anika... Yes, that it just wise and appropriate to give adults (even young teenagers like my first god kids) gift cards or cash, and toys for the little ones.. I used to shun the idea of shipping gifts but in this world of "busy"ness, I think i'd consider that this year =) Thanks for dropping by, dear and also for glancing through my facebook page =)

      hugs!
